We provide content removal (including DMCA takedowns), brand-cloning enforcement, investigative due diligence and public-record asset search. Where the law requires a licence, investigative and asset-search work is performed by licensed third-party partners, and CentricOwl manages the engagement and reporting.
We may collect business contact information about professionals who may be interested in our services, such as attorneys, publishers and company representatives. This includes name, job title, employer, work email address, work phone number and professional profile information.
We obtain this information from publicly available sources, such as bar association directories and company websites, and from commercial business-data providers. We use it only to contact these professionals about our services.
Every outreach email includes a way to opt out. You can also ask us to stop contacting you, or to delete your information, by emailing support@centricowl.com. We do not sell this information.
2.5 Information About People and Companies We ResearchWhen a client engages us for due diligence or an asset search, we and our licensed investigation partners collect information about the person or company being researched (the "subject"). This may include name, known addresses, business affiliations, corporate filings, property and vehicle records, and court, lien, judgment and UCC records.
This information comes from public records, licensed data sources and lawful investigative process. We use it only to complete the client's engagement, share it only with that client and the partners performing the work, and keep it for the periods described in section 7, Data Retention.
